Track & Field - summer registration is now open

Thank you for your interest in our summer track & field program. Registration for the 2024 summer track program is now open. 

FWTC offers a track & field program for ages 8-14 from April 29 to June 30, 6:00pm-7:30pm.

Track meets are typically held on Saturdays and athletes compete in 2-year age groups (age as of the end of this year).

Ages 12 and under are limited to three events, including relays; ages 13 and older are limited to four events, including relays.  

Cost of the program is $145; optional racing singlet and sweatshirts are also available.  

Meet fees are additional and typically run $25 each.

Tuesdays - field events (long jump, high jump and shot put)

May 10 (Friday night) - Mercer Mile Twilight Meet (7pm start; mile races only), Islander Middle School, Mercer Island

May 11 - Relay Carnival, Lake Washington HS, Kirkland

May 26 (Sunday) - Go the Distance track meet (400m + races only), Ingraham HS, Seattle

June 1 - Cascade Striders track meet, Lake Washington HS, Kirkland

June 9 - Washington Academy track meet, Sparks Stadium, Puyallup

June 15 - XTreme Speed track meet, French Field/Kent Meridian HS, Kent

June 21-23  Junior Olympic Association Championship @ Mt. Tahoma High School, Tacoma (top 8 finishers qualify to the next meet)

July 4-7  Junior Olympic Region 13 Championship @ Mt. Hood Community College, Gresham, OR (top 5 finishers qualify to the next meet)

July 22-28 Junior Olympic National Championship @ Texas A&M, College Station, TX
